Clare Garaty
Clare Garaty, the owner, was born and raised in England. She came to the U.S. in 2004 and moved to Florida via Washington State. Clare originally moved to the United States to snow ski and we know she won’t find snow or mountains in Florida. She says that arriving in St Pete area for the first time, it felt like home, and it has become just that.
Clare remembers becoming very interested in the accounting career literature her older brother brought home when she was 13. She was specifically interested in the story of an accountant that became a business owner. What better business to own!
Clare became an employee of Claire's Tax Service in 2005 and took ownership of the business in January 2011 from the previous owner (also named Claire). Clare's professional training and education in the UK is the equivalent of a CPA in the US. After moving here she took the Enrolled Agent (Taxation) exam and became an Enrolled Agent, and is therefore licensed by the Department of the US Treasury to practice before the IRS.
Along with a small team of dedicated professionals, they provide the best accounting and taxation representation that can help both individuals and businesses.
